Led by the Western Maine Addiction Recovery Initiative (WMARI), Project SaveME aims to develop sustainable programing to meet the complex needs of individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) in western Maine. The Project is funded by the HRSA Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP).
Goals
1.Expand access to prevention, treatment, and recovery services for SUD/OUD
2.Improve access to harm reduction services including SSP programs and Naloxone
3.Engage the community with educational opportunities to improve their understanding of evidence-based practices for addressing SUD/OUD and reducing stigma
