SUMMARY:Meditation @ Lakes Region Recovery Center
DESCRIPTION:“Once your eyes are open it is impossible to close them again” -Buddha.\nWe are born in the light but are quickly plunged into darkness by the may poisons of the modern world. It is in that inky blackness that we are unable to see the dangers in front of us. As long as we are in that darkness the best thing we can do is walk blindly with caution and hope we aren’t walking into the arms of monsters like addiction. What if there is no darkness? Those monsters cannot hide. They can be avoided. Meditation can guide you out of the darkness so that you may bask in the light. Meditation will give you the tools you need to build anew in the light. Please bring your own cushion/pillow. This group is open to adults. Men/Women/Neutral.

SUMMARY:Narcotics Anonymous - Norway
DESCRIPTION:Maine Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship of recovering drug addicts who have come together to solve their common problem of addiction. We apply a program of recovery with a single and profound promise: freedom from active addiction. \nThe best way to find out about NA is to come to a meeting and talk to some of our members. Meetings are gatherings of recovering addicts helping each other stay clean. Newcomers are always welcome and many members enjoy answering questions about their experience in NA. \nYou may also call our helpline at 1-800-974-0062. Our helpline service will connect you to one of our members. Many of us have found that speaking to a recovering addict can help us stay clean through those times when we feel like we are going to use.
